Numpty home network (LAN)

Just acquired one of these..
Trying it to get it to work as wired and wireless
Want to use the existing virgin box as the wired feed to the new unit, and keep everything on the same 192.168.1.xxx
How I have it Currently it works, but is a separate network

What parameter am I looking for to do this?
I know enough about this to be dangerous

You're probably better asking on the Teltonika forum.

Ultimately you'll want the RUTX to act as the main access point, with the virgin router providing the wired connection for the RUTX, so you need the RUTX to act as the IP address server (the correct name of which I have completely forgotten!), and issue IPs in the range of 192.168.1.xxx
The RUTX also needs configured to use the Virgin hub as it's wired connection provider, and have the RUTX failover settings set so that should the Virgin connection fail, it's fails over to the RUTXs mobile connection.

If I had one of my RUTs currently setup, I could give more detailed instructions (OS is the same between the RUT and RUTXs), but both of mine are currently in storage and I'm not even sure if I have functioning SIM.

Inside the house i have a plus net supplied router, the wifi name is called plusnet. Then, ive run cat 5 cable (from the plus net box) to the outside office where i have a switch box and a TP link WAP. This provides wired and WiFi access. Outside the network is arbitrarily called Office...

You need to place the virgin router in to modem mode.

Won't work due to the distance between, and the fact that there is only 1 cable to where the rutx11 is and the virgin and unmanaged switch is... I need the rutx to behave as an unmanaged access point and the virgin router issue the iP addresses

You need to disable the DHCP server on the RUTX and possibly set the gateway IP to match the virgin box.

I've not used that switch before but have done similar things in the past

You need to disable the DHCP server on one of them (Teltonkia preferred so that you don't need more configuration) . You then need to connect the Teltonika using a port that is configured for the LAN, not WAN. On the Teltonika you could most likely configure all the ports this way, I haven't used a Teltonika before.
