£106k according to a bit of googlingI'd sooner have a Craven or Noble & Lund before I paid £80k for that.

I enjoyed it - never seen their stuff before but the algo threw this up while my wife is shedding braincells watching The Traitors, so I'm happy it did!Quite relaxing watching his work, out takes are funny, his dog has some gonads![]()

Yeah I think the conversion was to £80k gbp but that's not with dro or accessories.£106k according to a bit of googling
I actually thought that seemed quite cheap!
You now have a few years worth of catching up to do. Hal heavy duty is a similar channel but instead of mining equipment being repaired, is drill rigs and mostly CNC machines although a fair bit of manual work tooI enjoyed it - never seen their stuff before but the algo threw this up while my wife is shedding braincells watching The Traitors, so I'm happy it did!
As an aside, I found it amazing that there's no difference between that and my lathe, except for scale.
I was quite tickled by the steadiesHaven't watched the links, but the best photo of a lathe I've seen had a ladder up the back of the tool post with a platform and seat for someone!

Well that's you sorted for the next year - he's an incredibly competent but understated guy. Karen's video production is also top-notch. It's one of the few channels that manages to avoid getting 'same-ey' IMHO.never seen their stuff before
Yep - watched a few tonight now. Karen knows what's going on, too, and adds some helpful commentary / questions. Kurtis is quite funny in that he is faaaaaar from a comfortable presenter, but he does a great job of explaining what he's about to do and I love the bloopers.Watched it earlier (CEE one of my regulars) and was suitably impressed. When it gets going, that chuck bloomin' terrifying.

As a home gamer, my ww2 era smart and brown is by far a better option than anything new of the same size...but as a business I would definitely want new, reliable, with a warranty and after sale support if neededI'm sure our aussie members will confirm - but my understanding is good quality old iron are fairly slim pickings in the land down under - and shipping anything in costs a fortune. So a lot of the machine tools tend to be Taiwanese or Chinese. I'd imagine a business investment like that needs to be something new and turnkey as well.
