Do they make one that you can fit a chuck on the end so I can do away with the drill as well ?
I'm going to buy 2 sets and screw all 6 adapters together, then I'll be able to cut stuff on the ground without stooping down
Confession time! Just bought a set of three, who else has ?

Im assuming you are planning a wobble grinder?
Wouldn’t the guard be spinning as well?I can see a use. A guard at the bottom wouldn't go amis though
I've got a lathe, I will make my own I reckon I could make one around a metre long for those really awkward jobs.....
I like your thinking, for getting into those really tight 'around the corner' spaces!!Probably worth including a UJ in the shaft?
I'm assuming your joking rightWouldn’t the guard be spinning as well?
I'm assuming your joking right
Fit extension. Slide guard down extension and secure as normal. Then fit disk. Would also mean you could hold the shaft to stabilise.

We’ll send a forum rep to your funeral, might even have a whip-round for some flowers
I was thinking of welding a guard to the bottom of the spinning shaft……I'm assuming your joking right

Did consider that. Would help stop wobble. You could also add a shaft support bearing into the guard extension.

So essentially it's a die grinder with a cut off wheel on it.You could also add a shaft support bearing into the guard extension.
