I think the implication is it looks like an oxygen regulator. What difference would it make Jake (other than potential safety issues with bottle pressure)?
Maybe you should check on the wire feed rollers...are they set up for the right diameter wire? make sure they're not set too tight!
Clean out the liner with the compressor and fit a new tip...
The ball flow meter should be between 15 and 20 when you press the trigger, give or take...Hope this helps!
Hmmm...bad earthing then? what's the state of the earth clamp and did you clamp it as near to the welding area as possible?
Do post up some more photos of the welds as it's really tricky to tell if the welds are great or horrid from those pics, never mind work out what could be wrong.
A wandering arc sounds like the wire speed is too low. Is the weld transferring in a blob like fashion rather than a continuous transfer?
You do have a .6 tip with the .6 wire ?
Usually the liner, or a neck liner, butts right up against the tip.
Clicking and popping noises from the neck would usually mean it is binding somewhat.
