Would you need a copper pipe? I'm guessing the rocket stove box is inside and would radiate heat into the surrounding water anyway. Seal up the bottom, add a fill point and a drain off tap & jobs a good un?Think i've missed a trick thereThe bottoms open with a removable plate but it would be impossible to get a copper coil around the chimney part now
Edit: and a high level breather/ overflow pipe?

dont bother connecting it to water as its not close enough to the sides
and with it being 3mm it will rust through in no time as well as burn through via the other side
my advice here add a top plate and stick fans on top of the heat plate before the chimney
if you look at this build you will see the step out for the insulation layer
the hot plate will give you a good area to fit fans upon to blow heat around the shed area dont forget to include the replacement top they do burn out at the max heat point above the flames
putting box section on the top will form a type of grill fins for air to blow through or even pull through as they will heat up rather well

its not chew on it it gives heat off of it and that you can use that to good advantageI like the idea for the top Gaz, i'm gonna chew on it a bit
the added advantage you can put a boiler on top of it and it will heat water up rather well same as a pan or kettle
if you dont want a boiler then added 3x1-4x1 box section welded together the fins of that will heat up from the heat of the top and you can draw or connect them to a tube and they will start to self radiate up a tube and therefore heat right at the end of the shed so now your heating at 2 ends of a shed and not just one end
alot better than throwing all that heat up the chimney
youve seen me harp on about sand being a good heat store well you can also use sand as well to store the heat making the heat last longer

So on my rocket stove ,the mistakes IV made and now rectified are,heat resistant paint I got from Screwfix was crap ,IV washed it of with thinners.All so the top I welded on the top of rocket stove needed to be higher of the the top ,so now I've raised that piece to rest the pan on , reason is ,it smothered the flame and the smoke was not being released, causing soot on bottom of pan ,not great

if you was going to take it out today due to the wind it would blow the flames away from the bottom rather well
so would take longer to heat the bottom up
to counter this as ive said often is to use a cross section of metal with an outside trim circle of metal either with a cross in the middle or from corner to corner
the cross section can be 8" wide with a round circle of trim this now acts as a wind buffer and also as an ash deflector
what ash does get spat out of the top of the rocket stove will hit the base of any pan and bounce back down again to the sides of the unit
the added bonus to this is the pan is heated up across a full 8" width ( 200mm )
