Non Serrated Aviation Snips

I have some Stanley aviation snips but they have a serrated blade which leaves a serrated edge to the copper I am cutting which is a royal pain to grind to remove.

Any suggestions for non serrated snips ??

All the ones I can find have the serrations on, most probably to improve grip on the material but I need to find smooth blade ones !!

I recently bought a set of 3 snips with serrated edges, first job was to gently remove the serrations with a fine flap disc, they cut better now than they did out of the packet.

My favorites were Prosnip which somehow managed to cut clean while having a serrated lower jaw (serrations are much finer than usual though) but they've been cheapnesed, they were part of Vise-Grip and got bought by whoever owns Irwin. I'm using Midwest snips now that the origional Prosnips are NLA, all their compound action snips have a serrated jaw that leaves marks 'out of the box' but they also do traditional tinners snips which are much like Gilbows etc but, based on their aviation snips, probably nicer and not cheapnese

Had a set for years along with Blue point serrated both are 30 + years old & will still cut paper, have numerous Gilbows, horses for courses tend to pick up the compounds by choice but long straight cuts a good sharp set of Gbs are great.

gilbows are the best but there a bit heavy
