You can have Carbon fibre in any colour you like as long as it is black! Black is its base colour, Not pink. It is also very expensive.That's quite an assertion.
I cannot for the life of me see anyone in a third world scenario like the video using a material that is highly expensive when they can use a material that is cheap as chips & readily available in said third world country.
People call things carbon fibre because it makes them look trendy & they can charge more for it.
Incidentally there is quite a bit of concern that carbon fibre dust particularly when burnt, (aircraft, brake components) will have similar effects to asbestos due to the tiny scale of the fibres released.
