Hi
I had CEA demo today and took notice that they used Ar/CO2 mix.
I took a deeper look at the process table and with CO2 only there are no pulsed processes, only standard MIG/MAG. There are pulsed processes for pure Argon, these are for aluminium. All other processes are using different kinds of Ar/CO2 mix.
I plan to not rent but buy-out the CO2 cylinder, just as I did with Ar for TIG.
Given that I have AC/DC TIG and do not foresee need for aluminium MIG, am I just throwing money to the wind? Seems that with CO2 only I will not benefit from pulsed MIG welder at all?
