I have been trying to strip some paint from a couple alloy wheels. Remembering how great Nitromors was a few years ago, I went out and bought some.
Nitromors claims a 'new recipe'.
What this really means is that they have removed an all important ingredient 'Methylene Chloride' (I guess to conform to EU pressures)
Well, it did at least soften the laquer to allow me to wire brush it off
It just cowered in the corner when faced with a wall of paint underneath. Not worth almost £15 for a poxy little tin of the stuff.
I didnt fancy the idea of a concentrated 'methylene chloride' bath at my home, but I did find this stuff which contains 'methylene chloride'

Slapped some on, left it for 10 minutes and presto! washed off with a hose to reveal a beautiful aluminum shine staring back at me. Great value for money I think.
I just thought I would share this with you guys and hopefully save you wasting some cash
