nitrogen regulator

Hello,
first time on here so here goes.
I have a nitrogen regulator and i would like to know if i could use this on the co bottle i was going to use.
Is ok to use this nitrogen regulator or do i need the proper ones that have the correct name on them.

well its fitted on mine, i was given the bottle with the guage fitted already.
I just wanted to know if it was safe, obviously its been used like this and the person i bought the kit off never mentioned anything about it

the issue is different bottles use vastly different pressures, get it wrong & you can have serious health issues, or even a withdrawal of breathing rights.

The N2 regulator is probably fitted via some sort of adaptor but as previously stated only use regulators for the gas they are designed for, make sure they are clearly marked with all the relevant info and that they are not over 5 years old, it's not worth the risk for the sake of saving a few quid

In which case as Backpurge says, you must have a male to female adapter on it too as CO2 regulators use a female fitting whereas nitrogen regs use a male one.
Either that or your cylinder is ar/co2 mix and not plain co2.
