Nissan Cabstar NT400 / F24 Diff

Posting out of desperation really!

does anyone have any leads on parts for a diff for the above - all I need is the pinion gear but could do with bearings and seals. I’m not bothered about bearings etc as I can get from bearing factors. It’s the pinion gear / shaft I can’t get. Anywhere.

Even Nissan. I’m happy with a good second hand one. I’ve tried transmission rebuilders, breakers, all sorts and no joy. I’ve not tried the bay as I’d rather exhaust all reputable avenues first but it’s looking like the bay is an option!

does anyone know who may stock
Or obtain such a shaft please? It’s made worse as they are a weak point on that truck so a lot of the scrap trucks have damaged ones.

Ashcroft are good, not so sure they do jap stuff. For Japanese truck spares KS international have always come up trumps.

Off the wall suggestion - swap the entire axle for something more common? Might need to carry two spare wheels if PCDs offsets are different.

Cheers. Nisssan dealer say not but they were pretty awkward to be fair.

Said it was dealer only parts in Aberdeen.

Tried another dealer and they won’t post here.

I can get a mate south to buy and post up so it’s not a huge issue so they aren’t making it easy!!

I will investigate further once I’m back in the orifice with a proper screen not a phone.

they have an internal ordering one but yep same thing basically

Amayama will come from Japan or UAE but they're reasonably fast (pre covid/brexit ****e anyway)

Try this place, they used to rebuild diffs etc.
If they don't do it in house, they will be able to advise you who can.

I have not used them for years, but they used to be good.
