When I got my Clarke MIG (151 TE) the manual had the usual message about it needing a 15 amp fused supply.
I solved the problem using a domestic 13 amp fuse, a 1mm drill bit, a length of 15 amp fuse wire, a soldering iron and a multimeter - hey presto - one 15 amp 'domestic' fuse.
It's worked fine for nigh on two years now - even putting up with occasional full whack welding episodes.
Mind you, I did have a good poke around inside the cartridge - to ensure the existing 13 amp fillament was severed - before soldering the 15 amp fuse wire in. Even verified this with a multimeter - rather than inadvertently create a 28 amp'er
