Any tips or suggestions for bolt holes and so on to make sure I either dont clog up threads or cover bolts in the stuff where they can't be removed

Normally the next step is to leave it untouched for a few years & start another project.
Then there will be an important event you want it finished for & you will go at it, all guns blazing in order to get finished in the 3 week deadline. You will need unobtainable parts that suddenly miraculously appear. You'll work all night in the eve of the event & get it finished just in time to roll up at the event in a concours car that was scattered around a damp garage in boxes a few weeks earlier.
Honestly, its true, I see it on TV shows all the time. Them blokes Tim Townsend & Fuzz Shaw can do miracles!
