Next batch of paint defects...

    It's the lechler industrial matte 2k top, on top of epoxy primer.

    I think it's somthing to do with prep, as I got some orange peel type stuff, sanded it back, went again, got some of these pimples, sanded them, more pimples.

    I'm wanting a flat matte really, but I'm getting more of a powedercoat style finish. With pimples.

    I'm wondering if I'm not waiting long enough between coats too. I'm painting, sanding the next day, then painting again. Datasheet says 24hrs.

    To be clearer, product is isolack 29141

    Micro blistering or solvent pop looks like.

    Reckon it's trying to breath. Would leave longer between coats to see if makes a difference

    I reckon you were right.

    I ended up getting them in the oven whilst noone was looking and, whilst I've not finished these ones, they certainly sand a lot differently post baking.

    ...so I think I was just being too eager.
