Newbie with no idea lol

Ok so i have zero experience with welding, Also have a old car thats going to need a bit at some point.
So im looking for some advice on a gas mig to go for?
Rather buy used if im going to get a better welder for the money.
Ideally around £250 or im i wasting my time at this amount for a used unit?

I bought a old mig to start with to get the feel of things
Then bought a brand new Clarke 151 en but that's still in the box

clarke mig 151 220.00 with machine mart voucher
boc gas account lets say 80.00
mig wire 20 for a 5kg roll .5 roll its surprising how quick you go through it
gloves and auto welding mask 30-40.00
and grinder and discs 30.00 + 10 for some discs

buy a used machine make sure it works properly can cost more than the welders worth to put it right
