Newbie saying hi

hi there guy's and gall's my name is David just joined up see if i can learn a little from all your expertise
I have a project car on the go and would like to make my own alluminium breather / swirl pot's so im looking to buy an ac/dc tig welder and was wondering which were any good for a hobiest like my self
Any advise / oppinions is greatly recieved

Hi there probably could stretch to £800 ish dont really mind if it's a second hand welder as long as i can still get the bits to repair if ever it breaks , As said it's going to be maily used for ali welding , Maybe a little stainless/Mild steel from time to time

Project is a ford focus that im converting to four wheel drive sierra cosworth running gear.
