Newbie: Removing excess weld material inside tubing?

Curious, how do the pro's remove excess weld material from the inside of tubes/pipes?

I'm referring to exhaust fabrication here.

Is there some sort of flexible grinding device which they use?

why would you get excess weld materail inside the pipes if the welder is set up correctly?

if you have got excess materail i would suggest that you tuen the wire feed down, as when you get penetration it shold be flush with the back of the metal that you are welding.

It shouldnt be much of an issue with an exhaust, unless its pretty serious.... in which case, its probably better to try again from scratch.

If not, there are a lot of abrasives, such as flap wheels, burr cutters, spirabands....

You can get electric ones, too, but they're much more expensive.
