Newbie help please!!!

Hi everybody, i am new to this forums. I know abit about Mig welding, but i want to move my hobby onto aluminium welding, and i have no clue at all on where to start, the only thing i know is that i need to buy a tig welder, but i have no other clue, its just a hobby, its not for sort of commercial use, so i just need to know what i exactly need, and i also have another question, is it possible to use a tig welder to weld on other materials like steel, sorry if its a stupid question, thanks for any help

The 200amp AC/DC Rehmann TIG should do: 2 year guarantee, again, eBay, but avoid the "buy it now" ones.

I got one a few mths ago aprox £500, good kit for the money. Also it runs a very good stick weld.

Or, if you've space, you could look for something like one of the old Miller units. (They are very big!)

AC for aluminium (you can DC it, but it's harder and looks pants!), DC for mild steel, stainless, copper, titanium, etc.
