Could I have your hints and tips please? The property that we are about to move in to (hopefully) seems to have only a wood burner with a back boiler to supply the central heating. I have virtually no experience of such things and am keen to learn all about it from the collective wisdom.
One plan I have in the back of my head is to get an LPG boiler installed to use in tandem or instead of, for timed heating but as said, I don't really know what I am talking about.
I can't tell you what else there is in the property as I was not looking for details on the viewing of this repossessed property. Seller (Northern Rock mortgagees in possession) are being utterly unhelpful and jobsworth, so I have no-one to consult.
One interesting point from the EPC is that it is claimed to be dual fuel, wood and mineral. I assume that means oil, but I have searched the grounds extensively for any sign of a tank or plumbing, to no avail.
