Hi everyone, I have recently started welding as a hobby as I have multiple cars and motorbikes and do all of my own work (even though non of them currently need welding).
I have done my level 1 City and Guilds MIG course and am finishing my Level 2 Mig. Next year I start my Level 1 TIG and then move on to my Level 2 TIG later. I don't actually need the qualifications but I learn a lot from the college as well as the other welders that may be "time served" but now need qualifications for work.
I currently have my own MIG machine as well as Plasma cutter as I have built up my own mini-workshop along with car lift, blasting cabinet, powder coating kit and small oven etc. as well as drills, bench / angle grinders etc.
I am currently thinking about getting a TIG welder as well for future use but as it is a "nice to have" and not a "need to have" finances have to be taken into consideration, although non of my kit is really a need to have
I look forward to learning from you all
Regards
Neil
