Hi guys n gals. I'm new here and would like a bit of advice from the guru's out there. I've got a Wolfweld turbo Mig 105 ( yes, yes, i know !! ) and want to weld thin sheet metal ( a repair to my bike exhaust ). The book says the welding amp range is 35 to 90. is the low range ok for 0.6mm wire and where can i get a spare wire feed wheel from, one with a 0.6 slot that is ?? The wheel that's on at the moment is for 0.8 and 1.0mm wire. Brilliant site by the way, only wish like others i had found it first.....

Is that not a gass-less machine? In which case 0.8mm is the smallest diameter flux-cored wire available & you will probably blows holes through an exhaust. If it's a gas machine you stand a much better chance, especially on 0.6mm wire. 35amps is tad high on the bottom setting but nothing you can do about that. I think Wolf have an online store & the likes of Screwfix sell them.

Dont you just hate them, these companies often start with good intentions then they get big and hire accountants that tell them to sh*t over the customers in the name of higher profits.
How can you not supply spares for a machine tool, by offering a lifetime warranty on the product, which they dont of course.
They dont know what they are selling, Wolf, Sealey, Draper, SIP, Nutool and all the other mug accountant run companies that are only interested in the bottom line.
At least Clarke have a service centre with spare parts

I've been dissapointed on a couple of occasions, ie.no stock, but they are generally very good. I make a point of stocking all spare parts for the welders I sell, certainly the everyday consumable parts & some more obscure, 'emergency' parts, but it's difficult to stock every single part.
If Wolf & the likes don't carry any spares stock (and it would seem that way) I wouldn't even consider them!

I have some scrap wolf machines in the back might have a feed roller could look Tues if I have one you can have it, the Wolf mainplace is 1 mile up the road from me and I knocked on there door to see if they would open me a account for spares, they did not want to know would never sell a wolf welder even to Weldequip
You wouldn't be able to give one away to me mate! hi there. DIYWelding, if you do find a roller with a 0.6mm groove it would be greatly appreciated. BUT, if the roller supplied only does 0.8 and 1.0 does this mean the machine wont cope with 0.6mm wire - not capable of going low enough power wise?? your thoughts..... i am using an argon/co2 mix and my torch isnt 'live' so its not all bad!
That's why forums like this are a pleasure to be part of mate. Talking of "generate", I have lots of generators for sale if you're interested 
Well I have a couple 105's here mate and both .6 & .8, I'll have a spare roller I can post if Weldequip can get me a gearbox. I'll let you know.
