Hi, the wire feed motor on my clarke 150en turbo has worn out, can anyone recommend a better wire feed motor replacement, as the clarke one was never that strong from new.

Neither is a straight swap, I had to turn a plastic adapter for the wire output and make a mounting bracket, move the output choke to clear the motor, cut a couple of holes in the case and now I have to deal with the running on...
Cheaper on amazon, i've ordered a couple of these in the past, kind of a gamble on whether the 40w or 25w one turns up but hey, either is pretty good for 20 notes
Not had to pay any sort of import taxes or customs charges on them yet either, probably due to them being packaged in a padded evelope rather than a box, again, not complaining lol
as above though, not a straight swap, have to isolate it from the chassis, make a mount and if you're going this far might aswell use the euro socket and add a gas solenoid and euro torch (way nicer than the standard clarke ones with the squishy trigger)
Just a little update on what i did to mine (dont think its worth making a new thread over) with thanks for the help from @eddie49 hate those sip type wire feed units and torches so replaced the lot with a £27 (or something like that from amazon) chinesium unit Nice little machine now, feeds...
