new welder

please please please will someone put me out of my misery and tell me which welder to get , budget around £300, only for car panels one project, i have a cebora 180 but to much wrong with it and i need a welder quickly, i intend to bring the cebora back to life over a few months so shes there should i need her

i am so bad at making decisions when it comes to new stuff

sealey, clarke, draper seem to be contenders in the budget, possibly rohr if anyone has experience with them

Hi, how about the blackline 200 from rally design? I got mine for £255 on ebay. On paper the low end seems too high for thin stuff but plenty of people online say it is perfect for bodywork etc.
I bought mine because the wire feed is supposed to be very good and rally design seem to have good customer service in my experience.
If you are going to using flux core at some stage then I would look at the rohr 200 as the polarity can be changed easily vs the Blackline which apparently does not need to change polarity to use flux core.

Oh just to comment further on the blackline, the company states that it has an auto sensing feature so when using flux core it can change polarity itself but as has been stated on here before, there is no way it can do this.
