I use a DeWalt DW872 and then bought a Makita cermet tipped Blade which was supposed to be good for 300 cuts on stainless for £212 !
26 cuts later it went back cos it was dull already, the replacement isnt faring much better.
Shame cos the first few cuts were brilliant.Gonna go back to abrasive discs and get me money back.
Are bandsaw blades any good for stainless and titanium ??

Anyway, thanks for the info. I'm sure with care and attention to detail I could turn the metal around and cut up to 600mm, although I doubt I'll ever need that length of cut (of course my first cut will need to be a metre!). I'm sold!
Oh, and overhaul the brakes on the motorhome, fit new tyres ...
