new to welding

i get the basic gist of what the difference are re mig arc tig etc. Pretty sure I am going with MIG

its only for car welding, probably going for the none gas one, incase I have to do any welding outside.

I am not sure which one to go for though, I would of though.

the 151 is a tad more powerful as I see it, and cheaper did I miss something else?

I never welded in my entire life, but I think an arc welder would take too much to clean up on body work

I can only assume it cheaper as it is more popular? not worked out they why red or blue models.

Welcome aboard, VM.

If most of what you intend doing is on cars, you'll be operating at the low end of the available amps, i.e. 30 in both machines linked. Having the extra 'oomph' at the top end will do no harm.

that was my thoughts, ( just in case I need more oomph ) but I couldn't work out why one range is red the other blue, the 151en seems a more powerful 130en, both gasless etc and the 151 is cheaper just extra amps. with the £20 saved as it were I can put towards gloves and better mask I don't have to hold. I thought maybe I missed something, I did do a comparison and it was only the 59amp vs 62amps as I saw different
