Well as I posted in the acquired thread I've gone and got a lathe albeit as a non runner well the control panel has been repaired ( power diode and inline fuse ) wired it back up today and it's alive and kicking .
speeds up , slows down in hi and low gear not to noisey , I've cleaned up and reinstalled the chuck so happy days so far ,
this next bit is what to do about these .
and I've cobbled up a lever on the fwd / rev I didn't want to keep using pliers on it as both knobs were missing when I picked it up . there will be plenty of questions to come but it's a start .
