This is my first time on ANY forum. I have learned a lot from this one and hope that I may also contribute a little in the future. Did a night school course many years ago in Gas Arc and Tig. I choose Gas and Tig because I could not do those at home on my own. A big mistake really because I could not put in the practise required without my own equipment so much of what I learnt is now forgotten. I have a Clarke Pro90 and a cheap 200 Amp arc set. I seem to enjoy having the tools as much as using them for practical projects. Although I have made successful repairs to a Lambretta frame and a pair of ash trays for my open fireplaces at home.
I have modified the old ( 20yrs?) Pro90 to enable reverse polarity and also have added Dinze style plugs and sockets to both welders.
