Nope it's not one I've experienced. I don't have a flex hose type torch like ck but it's very manageable/flexible round some of the intricate objects I get involved with. Norlander your 26 sounds like it belongs in a cage mate.Richard, if you have never wrestled a welding torch,a female one to that you have never lived.Sorry for the late reply,I was trying to release myself from an extremely good, guess what lock
How does the flexibility of the cable of an air cooled compare with that of a water cooled torch?
You should add a wp9 to your collection. Or better still buy/make a little cooler and get your self a wp20. You'll never need another torch again. Water cooling is so much nicer than gas cooling.Took a piccy of my torches whilst mooching about tidying up tween jobs,

from left next to mug, CK17 flexi head, flexi hose, 150amp , middle, the WP26 that came with my welder, next, CK Trimline 210 200 amps, on reflection, I should have just bought that one, but, hey, I have a spare if I damage a torch, always handy out here in the sticks.
I am using the 17 at the moment, if you zoom in, you can see the slight bend I have on it, so far I have found you don't need to wrench em round to 90° , just a little tweak is enough.
I resisted tweaking the head at first as I thought it was sort of cheating until I learnt to use the torch and pedal combo like I had a fixed head torch. But now I give it a nudge to get into the job, and yesterday, I put on the pyrex clear cup for the first time, which I did find an advantage.
You can use standard torch parts on the CKs, I have their gas saver kit, which is fine, but it seems to me that you are stuck with buying their cups, which are push on, needs someone more clued up on the CK kit to comment on that.
End of the day, the new torches have made life easier, and most important, ended the frustration of the WP26 which was just too big and clumpy for what I do.
