I have been using my acdc tig as a stick welder for a bit now,but its a bit big to be lugging around,so bought a new one.its a EWM pico 162.Went to have a look at a different, cheaper plant at a local suppliers, but when i got there was tempted with a crazy deal that i couldnt pass on this.

welds really nice, with any rod.very soft arc with little spatter.improved appearance of my welds immediately.105 OCV,so to break the arc you have to exaggerate pulling away or it will stay lit

this is with Bohler cellulose, vertical down

very pleased with how it performs,to say the least.getting green eyed at the rest of the range now though, especially their ac dc tigs.f'in expensive though
