I picked up my welder today as it was only a mile from my house.
I won it on ebay for £35 which was my max bid

If it can not be demonstrated welding on all setting then it is only worth scrap value " new bees bare this in mind when buying secound hand "
The torch has been modified in a strange way I will post some pics later.

I was only joking about it looking a good one as it looks a bit rough

It's a fair few years old but for £35 I'd say it was a steal!
If it doesn't work you'd pretty much get your money back if you sold it as spares/repairs or parted it out.

Some Pics .
I plugged it in and pulled the trigger and the feed motor ran and varied on the speed control.
There is a constant output voltage of 10volts with the trigger not engaged.
voltage switch reading
v1 25v
v2 27.2 v
v3 29.5v
v4 32v
v5 34.9v
v6 38 v
I shall have to blow it out and do a few checks before I try welding with It, fortunately it dosn't appear to have beeen messed about with in the box or on the control board.

It as had a flanged tube fitted to support the welding torch cable and take the strain off the feed roll assembly location .

Any circuit diagrams would be much appreciated.

Tieded it up a bit and it works a treat:
Actually very impressed with its welding range, also well built no whistle a bells to go wrong .

That torch support tube looks ready to short out the welding current to the frame of the machine, my advice is to remove it, or sleeve the inside with some plastic tube.

It has been sleeved with rubber tubing great minds think a like.
Now the price of Euro coversions have come down I think it would be a worthwhile mod.

i would put a fan in there plenty of room for it will give you a better duty cycle

Good stuff, from the angle of the picture the jubilee clip looks very close to shorting out as well.
