Grind off the washers from the new dumb irons and weld on ones of the correct size. It's the usual fix for holes that have worn due to siezed spring eye bushes.
You may find if you buy Britpart spring eye bushes they are also a larger size, maybe for a modern metric bolt. Just a thought!

belting with a hammer and swearing didnt work[must have offended it], the front dumb irons fully welded and within half a mm or so of alignment with each other,5mm thk 9/16 bore washers made using holesaw and drill,will be welded on in place of the britpart crap ones @16mm,awaiting some long strips of 2mm plate to tidy the rear chassis sections then paint and start the reassembly of the chassis,
