Do they still make Tonka Toys, I had a dumper truck when I was a nipper and it was indestructible.

They're plastic.....wasn't tonka all metal.....well mine was,I made sure it looked the part...it got a few knocks from house bricks :rolleyes:

The bearing housing with limit switches is now finished and I'm pleased to say the concept works perfectly. I was going to use a slip ring to transfer the power to the top but I couldn't find one suitable. In the end I decided I will run the cables through the centre of the bearings and limit the rotation to about 320 degrees to to avoid damage to cable.
