I've had some of the Ryobi One system 18v tools for a while. These have mainly been a drill, impact driver and reciprocating saw. The batteries have always been the weak link and as they have run down quickly under heavy use then slow to charge up. The reciprocating saw has not been used for a while as I had to buy a corded version as the cordless just didn’t have the power for sustained cutting.
I’m now looking at 1/2” torque gun and contemplating changing brands so would get a drill too. I’m not a tradesman they are just for diy and hobby use. Makita seem to be well regarded and well priced but but a few different version which I don’t know the difference on. Milwaukee seems to be very popular too with some great reviews but a little more pricey. I would be looking at adding an angle grinder and multi tool too at a later date.
What are the views of the forum on these brands or others?
