I know of vehicles that have been mothballed for 12 mths at a time, dragged out mot tested used for a few weeks at most then stuck back again, some have been doing this for over 4 years, all on the same oil.
All that nasty suspended diesel crud in the oil, all that damp air in the block, annoyingly they will not blow up!
