Start with one thing. Personally I'd start with growing your own food if you can. Tastes much better.I would honestly like to be green (not physically) ..But I drive a diesel car, I burn fuel oil for heating, I use labour saving devices (washer/drier/d'washer/computers), weld, 3D print, use a furnace, drive a tractor and digger.
I don't grow my own food, buy pre-packed food from supermarkets. Have big tv sets.
I need to give all this up to make any effect. Where do I start?
I tend to think I'm not alone?
If only the Chinese had been happy being poor, then we might have just scraped by?
As an aside. I often wonder how the enviromental protestors actually get to their protest venues.
Walk, bike or stick-and-hoop?
As I see it we need at least one power plant for bitcoin and another for Google?
Or simply buy locally. Just sorting out other halves birthday BBQ and we're providing the venison, getting the sausages from a neighbour, burgers are coming from someone local. Doesn't cost anymore than the supermarket and I can guarantee it'll taste better.
