Carb for a Honda Engine? there are loads of online spares dealers for them I would find your engine model and google it, if be surprised if you couldn't get hold of one.
Should be able to get one from your local dealer. He did say the one downside of the Izy is that carbs are expensive, about £70 he said. I have never needed one though.
you can usually get carb rebuild kits, including gaskets, needles, seats, jets etc... depends on how far gone it is. The bigger carbs usually rebuild well enough, it's the little 2 strokes one that cause me most headaches, too many wee passages / bits that you can never get cleared..
Yep best part of 100 notes new ..... for a 10 year old mower that's just not worth the risk of other trouble
Modern small engine carbs are generally not user serviceable because of idiot environmental crap .. so a perfectly good mower is now scrap for want of a £5 service kit.... it need the float valve seat replacing, new needle didn't fix it.....
i would never buy an new mower 99 percent made with paper metal all conforming to energy efficent one thing not right with them parts time
buy an mower 15 years old briggs engine are not the best but very good and parts easy to get and very cheap the deaks are made of good metal (need to cheak the deak before you buy) some older models are made of ali and last for donkey years
a good service and you will get more out of that mower than a new one unleess spending hundreds a 2nd hand one around £30 to 80
