they are pretty cool.Astra Zeneca have a couple of stihl cordless mower bots doing some large lawned areas on their campus - it’s quite mesmerising watching them go about their work! They also had a little charging station set up where they would periodically go back to.
I bought an EGO after trying the neighbour's.
In terms of performance, it's as good as any decent petrol mower, but easier to use.
Clip the battery in, and it's good to go.
Variable speed drive, which works without having the blade running.
It also folds up and the handle retracts, so it can be stored standing on it's end and take up far less room than a petrol mower to store.
No. They're ****. Trading on being a British "brand" when they're as British as Ducati (and less reliable)...Mountfield mowers seem to do the job OK.
Linky is private, could you grab a screen shot please ?
We have a petrol Hyundai at the stables, Mrs Robo wanted one with electric start as she can't use a pull start, had it 3 or 4 years and I've never known her use it, I end up doing all the mowing and just use the pull start.Petrol ... unless it's tiny ... my current one is a Hyundai, in its 3rd year with absolutely zero issues... other than someone not charging the battery and complaining it won't start
