Wait for advice from others on here, my gut instinct is don't do it.

i dont want one, just thought it may be an option for some one on the forum looking for a new high amp one at decent money

The duty cycle is very poor, I wouldn't consider this to be a 250amp welder with such a low duty. If you are only doing low amps then that should be OK, However if you use the higher amps, it will overheat rapidly and possibly burn out. If the manufacturer was honest they should have labeled this MIG as a 140AMP unit, but then they wouldn't sell as many to people who aren't familiar with welders.

This one does 240amps at 15% duty, which means you could weld for 1.5 minutes at that amperage and then you would have to stop and let the machine cool down for 8.5 minutes, however I wouldn't be surprised if it started to splutter way before the 1.5 minutes mark had been reached. Definitively not a "professional" machine as advertised in my opinion.
