I used to have a Clarke 100 sitting on top of my ancient Sealey Super Mig 180. During a workshop move my friend accidentally threw out the wrong MIG so I was left with the 100 for thin metal but having to borrow welders for anything thicker. I’m looking at something like the Rtech 180 but not sure how low it goes for the thin stuff. Is there anything better for the money? I have 3 phase in my garage so I guess I could look at secondhand too. what would people recommend for a hobbyist with a backlog of projects?
