[Ireland Wexford]

Hello guys and perhaps girls I am from southern Ireland. Just bought a might welder, it's a ( Parweld XTM 252i ) . Hopefully some of ye know or even better has one of these. Never used a mig before and I just can't get it going. I can get it to burn the wire but can't get it to speed up the wire as I don't understand the settings. Any help would be great thanks

Hi and welcome. There will be someone along better qualified than me to advise I'm sure. But Before you start, Have you got all the PPE that you need, Throw the mask away that came with it and get yourself an Auto darkening mask, and a pair of decent leather welding gloves. Cover your arms up unless you like painful sun burn. Them watch the videos on the forum, They are very helpful. Oh and enjoy the crack

Hi and thanks. Yea have the gear as I have a stick welder for more years than I want to admit too. Think the helmet that came with it is an ok one to be fair but I never even opened that box it is an auto one as well. Where do I find them videos you mentioned.
