Hi guys
I’ve been a lurker watching from the shadows for years but recently decided to join the community.
I’m from the UK on the South East coast and retired early from the electrical contracting industry. Retiring early has its pros & cons; although I now have more time to play my underperforming pension pot restricts the purchase of new toys.
A few years ago I bought an R-Tech MIG180 to help with refurbishing my 1995 Toyota HIACE van.
The job became a fair bit more than just a bit of welding as I had to learn to fabricate panels and patch panels.
The van is a bit of a mess at the moment and I’m just waiting for the seasons to change a bit before I start exposing more bare metal to damp air.
I’ve been blown away by the collective skills and knowledge on this forum and hope I can at some point offer positive input.
