It's only going to work for about three days a year in the uk then.It is more anti drone than anti missile - plus cloud cover is a problem
But not all of it.....That's it give our new tech freely to a country with a questionable history when it comes to corruption, terrorism and arms trafficking
Allows it to be tested in real situations, great advertising if effective.
"It's designed to not wait until we have this at 99.9% perfection before it goes into the field, but get it to sort of 70% and then get it out there and then develop it from there," Mr Shapps said.⁰
So it doesn't need to work all of the time, until you need to use it in anger, and then if it doesn't work your dead.
Brilliant!
Weapon systems that don't work first time every time are about as much use as Mr Shapps!

I'm sure the US have their own version in the works. That's it give our new tech freely to a country with a questionable history when it comes to corruption, terrorism and arms trafficking

Naw, they will first fire off a "Burn a hole in the clouds" shotgun beam, and thence onto the main one.....It's only going to work for about three days a year in the uk then.
Ref, CCR's song "Fortunate Son".Too many politicians. If they personally lead the troops into battle I'm sure there would be fewer wars.
