I loved my Kimber too, a lightweight mountain rifle in .308, in a moment of insanity I sold it, still cannot work out why I did that. As for the firearms industry, I am still in it and it looks like I am going to be for quite some time.I was in the firearms industry for 35+ yrs...love my Kimber
