I've got a generic bench grinder, probably cost me £30, 15 years ago, and the wheels are worn.
Is it worth changing the wheels or should I just buy another cheapie unit?
If I was to change the wheels, what material should I get for mild steel? Axminster has a collection of wheels from £3.90 to £40 a wheel - <clicky-linky>
I could maybe be persuaded to splurge £40 or £50 on a new unit if someone can recommend one - the motor in mine (might be a performance pro / B&Q) doesn't take much pressure before starting to slow down.
