I used to wear varifocals a couple of years ago.
Before them I had 3 pairs of glasses for Reading, Computer and Distance!
Varifocals do take time to get used to them
My poor eyesight was a result of cataracts.
Two years ago they got so bad that I had to have surgery to remove them.
I could have had one eye done on the NHS but I opted to have both eyes done privately and had Trifocal lenses implanted.
They have 3 prescriptions for close, medium and Distance.
Don't ask me how they work but they do!
Takes the brain a few weeks to get used to them but two years on I still have perfect vision
Cost me £6700 (took money from my pension to fund) but it was money well spent.
I was spending over £300 every year on glasses and the eye surgeon reckons that my vision will be good until I drop......
