Ok, so I have bought a sealey folding machine off ebay (I know I should have made one but can't be arsed), anyway, it looks very sturdy and the clamp bar is certainly very substantial.
Only thing is there is no clamping mechanism with the folder, I have tried using a couple of G-clamps but when you fold the metal it pushes the clamping bar back from the edge ruining the fold (I did leave the clamp about 2mm back from the fold line to allow for the radius)
here is the folder.
I am thinking of fabricating a multi point clamping bar that fits like a gantry over the top and bolts to the bench with the machine.
any other ideas would be welcome,
or am I doing something wrong?
