had some square to round work come in,and knocked this up fri out of spare steel,it just manages 1m by 3mm,not tried it on full 90 but good for what i need

i did think about that and went for welding solid rod to and under the v but i think your right,some little gussets on the outside near centerish would make it more solid,could give me provisions for putting a small sheet bed on one side to hey

Usually triangular bits of material, welded between 2 parts at right angles to each other, to form the hypotenuse of a triangle, for stiffness....Kind of Viagra for metal.

Once tried to develop a cylindrical gusset but couldn’t get full market penetration.
