I'm sorting some office stuff out at a place at the moment and there are a few dual screen set-ups on stands and a load of cables and splitter/switch type things. Graphics cards as well.
None of it is the latest cutting-edge tech but if anybody wants me to look for anything give me a shout!

On one of my setups I added a single head graphics card and ran 2 screens still using the onboard graphics plug which seemed to work fine.
Although I don't remember the last time I saw a graphics card that did not have at least 2 outputs!

If your monitors don't support daisy chaining you need a "Multi-stream transport hub". It's only DP1.2 and higher which supports MST though, I can't tell if that's what your card has. For the price of a hub, I'd just get a new (Or second hand) GPU which already has multiple outputs.

How are your current 24" displays connected?

I've used DP on 1 and HDMI on the other - Not many MST Hubs specifically state that they support extended display. It's working now, but I'll look into the extended display capable MST Hubs.
