If you buy anything from PC World at the moment use a credit card...I returned a MacBook in Nov 2020 (I owned it for all of a week before the screen started acting up!)...no refund...they ignore letters and emails too.Pc world is generally expensive to stupid money.
It seems they've basically switched off all their customer support...their helpline just leads nowhere and hangs up too!
Building your own is the way to go....I've built maybe half a dozen over the years. But think about what you want/need...my latest desktop is super low power so no noise and no heat (it's on all day!). One handy tip is to buy a top end mobo but then buy the cheapest cpu that will fit...upgrade the cpu later when prices fall (which they always do!)
