I may have made a small miscalculation here.Still cheesed that BOC want £15 of my pounds so I can go and pick it up!
Does anyone know the name of this much fabled deal? It would make tracking it down a heck of a lot easier.
I have a Boc account and have rang the people I deal with at Boc and both knew nothing about it ?
At he moment I'm very sceptical about the original post as there has been no contact or number to back it up ?

There is no collection charge on the BOC Hobby Welder/Volkszone deal.I may have made a small miscalculation here.

I was told about the £15 collection charge fro Volkzone yesterday but when I called to sort an account this morning, the woman said it didn't apply.

All the above is a usual tale about all companys across the land..no real defined pricing structure. I go into a Beers building yard and can haggle as much as 12% discount,go to another one in another County and cant better 5%

There is an additional £30 for the 5 years usage on the bottle to go to 20L from 10 L
I will sit down and work it out..

I have no reason to post untrue facts.
BOC contacted ME initially. Possibly because I have not ordered gas for a while. I don't get through as much of some people on here.
I am not sure if I am having my trousers taken down here. I have just received my Energas invoice for next years rental on 2 Y sized bottles 1 Argon and the other Mig Uni. £212 +vat.
As I am not using as much as I used to this seems a bit excessive - Any suggestions?

Do BOC have a name for this deal? No-one is going to get anywhere making enquiries about it without that, or better still the name and number of the person in charge of it.

I think the Volkzone (or now renamed) deal from BOC is far, far better if you're OK to use argoshield light (for thin metal, to about 4mm) rather than argoshield universal. If nothing else, the pure argon will be cheaper.

£8 a refill is unbelievable.
For members to believe that is even remotely true your going to have to put up some information. Is there a name for this deal? Who contacted you with these prices and told you it was fixed for 12months? Did they have a contact number/email. Was there any hard written copy with a reference number to work to.
Sorry for the direct questions but people are struggling to find anything other than your word on this. I'll always stick with Airproducts as I can literally walk to the place and pick up my 30Ltr and I get it cheaper than I should but that's a whole other story. I think some more info is needed so members can find and take advantage of this should it be legit.

Things like this £8 refill never seem to be backed up with anything verifiable.
Obviously BOC have many accounts, and varying pricing structures for different clients depending on how much turnover they generate.
Until there is something that actually shows a private user can get these prices without minimum usages etc. then I shall continue to assume it's not entirely on the up'n'up
I totally agree mate, why do folks make statements and never come back with basic facts !!! Or is it a contest ???
